Bankruptcy or Debt Settlement Program??? Please Help
To make a long story short, I have managed to bury myself with almost $70,000 in credit card debt. I did not want to file bankruptcy…so I decided to join a debt settlement program to pay $1075 a month for 36 months. What are somethings that I should expect to happen to my credit in the next 3-5 years? More >> |

Refinance – using existing lender?
I’m thinking about calling CitiMortgage, to discuss refinancing my existing mortgage. Hoping for a no-cost refi at a competitive rate. We currently have a 7/1 ARM that resets in December 2009, and the interest rate is 5.25%. Suggestions? Hints? Is there anything specific I need to ask? More >> |

Cannot get credit card
Very strange to see on here that all these people are getting credit cards with recent bankruptcy, judgements and charge offs, yet I cannot get a 1.00 credit card to save my life. Is everybody just blowing smoke on here. More >> |

President Bush signed the Economic Stimulus package into law. The increased GSE loan limits means borrowers will see immediate relief with new liquidity in the mortgage market and the nation will see an additional 300,000 home sales.
